Your time on the coast is meant to be experienced fully—the sand castles being built, the waves lapping at the shore, the kids chasing seagulls, and the pure joy of being at the beach.
We are here to document the one-of-a-kind memories that only the Gulf Coast can give you.
“My husband and I wanted to have local photographers from Sarasota for our photoshoot at the Ringling Museum, so I found Love & Style Photography online. They were responsive and detailed with explaining their packages and booking our session. We showed up on the day of, and everything went smoothly! We will definitely use Love & Style for future photo sessions.”
Founders Summer and Becky met in Hawaii, and photography quickly became part of the way they documented their life together. What started as capturing their own adventures soon grew into photographing other people’s meaningful moments.
When they eventually made their way back to the mainland and settled on Florida’s Gulf Coast, they realized Sarasota was the perfect place for the kind of photography they loved most—families traveling from all over the country, milestone moments happening against some of the most incredible sunsets, and the kind of joyful atmosphere only the beach seems to create.
We share the same approach, style, and love for documenting the moments people come here to celebrate.
Today, Love & Style Photography continues to feel like a family business—just with a few more cameras chasing sunsets along the coast.
Behind every Love & Style session is a photographer who knows how to read the light, help you feel comfortable, and probably crack a joke if things start feeling a little too serious.
Because while beautiful photos matter, enjoying the experience matters just as much.
I’ve spent over 20 years behind the camera and have always been drawn to the way light shapes a photo. I love creating images that feel bright, vibrant, and full of life.
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. What started as something I was exposed to at a young age slowly grew into a passion and eventually a career. Today, I lead the Love & Style team with a calm, lighthearted approach that helps families relax and have fun during their vacation.
When I’m not photographing sessions along the Sarasota beaches, you’ll usually find me spending time with family, watching movies, or enjoying a quiet day near the water.
A surprise proposal while getting to hide on the beach, paparazzi style.
I’m the proud second shooter for weddings and extended family sessions. I’ve always had a soft spot for candid moments, so if something memorable is happening on the sidelines, I’m usually right there.
When Summer and I first started our business together, I focused on the business side of things. But after tagging along to enough sessions, he eventually handed me a spare camera and told me to give it a try. He described photography as “treasure hunting,” and he was right—I immediately fell in love with it.
Before long, I stepped away from my career as a massage therapist and joined the business full time, discovering photography as both a creative outlet and a way to stay present in the moment.
The groom’s face when he sees his bride coming down the aisle for the first time. There’s so much emotion there!
I recently made the move to Florida and couldn’t be happier to be somewhere with sunshine, warm weather, and the ocean close by. I grew up in Columbia, Missouri and graduated from the University of Missouri in 2021 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, where I explored different creative mediums like photography, graphic design, and other visual arts.
For me, photography is about noticing what’s happening naturally, and I love to capture the unexpected little moments that families end up cherishing the most.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually chasing my next adventure. I love being outside and trying anything that gets your heart racing a little.
Any moment that captures people who are just enjoying their time together.
I joined the Love & Style team after Becky and Summer (my aunt and uncle) invited me to work with them behind the camera. I grew up in Columbia, Missouri, but since I was born in Jacksonville, I still like to say I’m a Florida kid at heart.
Travel has always been a big part of my life, and it’s one of the things that made me fall in love with photography. When you’re exploring new places and spending time with people you care about, those are often the moments you wish you could freeze in time.
Since joining the team, I’ve trained closely with Becky and Summer and now photograph sessions using the same relaxed, natural approach Love & Style is known for.
The candid moments between poses! That’s when everyone’s personality really shines.
The experience was delightful and the results were spectacular. Our photos are simply beautiful and a true gift for our family.”
Some of the best photos happen when people stop worrying about looking perfect. Shoes come off, kids start running around, and everyone relaxes a little. We’ll always encourage you to enjoy the experience first, and think about the photos second.
Beach days rarely go exactly as planned, and honestly, that’s part of the fun. Kids run toward the water, the wind picks up, someone finds the perfect shell. Instead of forcing everything to be perfect, we lean into the moment and let photos just happen.
The best light takes a little patience. That’s why we plan sessions around the golden hour, when the sky turns soft and glowing and everything feels a little more magical along the Gulf Coast.
