WHAT TIME OF DAY ARE FAMILY SESSIONS SCHEDULED?
For the most beautiful light, family sessions are typically scheduled about one hour before sunset. This soft “golden hour” light creates the warm, glowing look you see throughout our portfolio. It’s also the most flattering light for skin tones and helps avoid harsh shadows.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
Beach weather in Florida can change quickly, and brief showers are actually very common on Anna Maria Island and the Sarasota beaches. If rain is in the forecast, we’ll stay in communication with you and adjust timing if needed. Many sessions can simply shift a little earlier or later to work around passing showers.
If the weather truly isn’t workable, we’ll do our best to reschedule your session during your stay. If we’re unable to find a time that works for both of us, your deposit will be fully refunded. After photographing hundreds of beach sessions in the area, we’ve found that flexibility with timing usually solves most weather challenges.

IS THE $100 DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE?
Yes, the $100 deposit secures your date and time on our calendar. It’s fully refundable with at least four weeks’ notice if you need to cancel your session.
If the weather prevents the session and we’re unable to find another time that works for both of us during your stay, your deposit will be fully refunded in that case as well.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR FOR OUR BEACH PHOTOS?
We recommend choosing light, neutral, or soft coastal colors that complement the beach environment. Flowy fabrics, simple patterns, and coordinating outfits (rather than perfectly matching) tend to photograph beautifully. Avoid large logos or very bright colors that may distract from the natural beauty of the beach and the connection between your family.
